In a fantasy world haunted by spirits, people are transformed monsters like them called wraths. A young girl from a non-warrior race seeks to take the war to the spirits by becoming a knight meant to fight them. Now, each reset drags T’balt deeper into a brutal system of divine “loot,” false prophets, and shattered loyalties as he learns to wield this godlike power — and watches everyone he loves be killed by Monan. Every time he tries to win, he realizes Monan has lived this life before. T’Balt is forced to play god with peoples lives in order to free himself of this menace and save those close to him.
